Been playing with my twinkling H2Os today, wow so sparkly. So much fun.

Made three backgrounds, messed one up so cut some dies with it and created this card. Can you tell I'm loving on splatter at the moment?! Lol

This card is a cute little 4x4, sentiment and hearts are Simon Says Stamp dies, Birthday is from Avery Elle - Handwritten Notes set.

I'm still working with the third background piece but here's a sneak (terrible photo)

Hope you've had a great day :-)

MIA

I'm sorry I've been away for so long.. I promised myself I wouldn't let life get in the way, but alas, life has a stronger will than I! Lol
Between wedding planning, moving house, organizing two birthdays and my partner FIFO, doesn't leave much crafting time.
My new craft room is enormous, I'm so thrilled. Once she's all set up and ready to go, I'll share some pics. Hopefully it won't be too much longer and I can get back into things.
Hope everyone is doing well :-)

Showcase those Charms Baby!

My mission for this DT entry was to showcase some charms available over at Scrap Goodies, I think I have done an okay job. I have only just started my charm collection so this is my first time working with them. It was fun though, and thank god for glossy accents! THE BEST GLUE EVER! haha

I created this card for my mother-in-laws birthday coming up. I used Prima papers, Prima flowers, Prima crystals.. are we sensing a theme here? lol
Ooo I also got to use my new Prima distress tool, that some fabulous lady gave me for my birthday, it is every bit as cool as I though it was going to be, and GUESS WHAT?!?! Scrap Goodies have them in stock!!

This is also the first time I have played with texture paste.. very cool! I used a stencil and then sprayed some glimmer mist on it to give some colour and a hint of sparkle. Stencil, ribbon, charms, papers, crystals, flowers are all available from Scrap Goodies.. GO CHECK IT OUT! :-)

The one big flower is an I am Roses flower that I coloured with a Copic marker. The owl is made from the Stampin Up Owl Builder punch.

Did I showcase the charms baby?? lol

HB2U

I got a stencil from Scrap Goodies a week or so ago, finally had a chance to play with it and my Glimmer Mists. I coloured up this Wee - Suzi digi awhile ago, so I'm sorry but, I don't have the numbers. The paper collection is Echo Park - Summer Fun, the pearls and rubons I've had in my stash forever.

Really happy with how she turned out :-)

A close up of gorgeous Suzi.

Thinking of you

Was way out of my comfort zone on this one, following a sketch from Deconstructing Jen (that I flipped) and the "older" style papers. This card is for my Nan, so I think it works. What do you think? I'm totally open to constructive criticism and feedback.

Sorry I didn't write down what Copic colours I used, the paper collection is Prima - Romance, the flowers are also Prima that I coloured with my copics to suit and one singular I am Roses bud, also coloured with Copics. The "thinking of you" is an ancient American Crafts rubon that I've had in my stash forever. I couldn't resist "stickling" the heck out of everything with my favourite Star Dust Stickles.

I wish to enter this card into the following challenges:

Deconstructed Sketch #100
CMC Copic Challenge - Anything Goes
Our Creative Corner - Anything Goes
Whimsy Stamps Challenge #59 - Anything Goes

Nappy Cake

This is the nappy cake I created to go with the Welcome Baby card...

Didn't know what to do with the dummies so my partner Trav stuck them on top. I think it now looks like a female version of Wall-E! Haha

Not likely to ever make one again, way too fiddly for my liking, but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, especially the bow.. That "abc" took forever! :-p

Welcome to the World

I made this card as a Welcome New Baby, bubs isnt due until Friday but I have been informed that its a girl (lets hope the sonographer is correct! haha)

I recently discovered Meljens Design digital stamps, I have to say.. I AM IN LOVE! So much fun to colour and there are so many gorgeous designs. The image I have used is called, Cuddle on a Cloud.

I have used Prima - Jack N Jill papers, Make it Crafty - Corner Flourishes, Kaisercraft - Newborn Rubon and American Crafts Rubon that I bought a million years ago. I used to be in love with Rubons then they kind of took a backseat, now to bring them all out again. Haha. The cardstock is from my scrap pile as well as the ribbon.

The Copic colours I used are:

Skin: E21, E00, E000
Cheek: R20
Hearts: RV06, RV04 & Glossy Accents
Stars: Y08, Y06
Nappy: B000, 0 & Stickles
Cloud: C3, C1, 0

I wish to enter this card into:

Meljens Design Challenge #154 - Happy Birthday (I'm going with Happy Birth day.. lol)
City Crafter Challenge #154 - Happy Birthday (Again, I'm going with Happy Birth day :-D)

Not Scrap Related.. How to add a Button to your Sidebar

I was so super excited to find out that I had been "Featured" over on the Tiddly Inks Challenge blog, to only discover that I had no clue on how to add the button to my sidebar :-(
Well it took me a bit of research and playing about but I figured it out.

Here's how:

Copy the URL of the button that you want to appear on your sidebar
Go to "Layout" in Blogger
Click on "Add a Gadget" on the sidebar
Scroll down a little and click on "HTML/Javascript"
Paste your URL into the content section, leaving the title blank
Save the changes
VOILA its there

So easy but so complicated to find.. lol

Hope this helps someone and THANKS AGAIN to Tiddly Inks.. Super appreciate the recognition :-)
